76107 Collective: Co-working and Events

Co-founder, event planner and marketing director

The 76107 Collective is a co-working space with small offices, gallery space and pop-up events in the heart of the Design District in Fort Worth, Texas! I created this space in collaboration with my mother, Jill Black, over five years ago and still help with marketing as needed, though our offices are all full and we do have a waitlist!

We have hosted everything from artists-in-residence and gallery shows to pop-up markets and political fundraisers. This space is a home for so many incredible small businesses and artists in Fort Worth and has been a joy to watch blossom.

Community Painting Events

Community is built in many ways- creating something together that can be admired for a long time to come is a tangible example of our communities. I offer these events to all age groups, and love getting everyone involved to an extent that is accessible to them. We always come up with awesome pieces to display at the end of our events and make memories with kids that will last a lifetime. I know I sure remember doing similar activities as a kid- which is a huge part of why I so love to do them to this day!

Local Nonprofit Involvement

Food Justice, Mutual Aid and more!

Supporting our local communities is some of the most important work we can do in this world Being involved, locally in everything from auction planning and sourcing, to graphic design, event planning committee work and fundraising is an important part of the work that I do.

Queer Art Club

Colorado Springs, Colorado

The Colorado Springs Queer Art Club has been a huge part of my life and work over the past year. When I realized our community was lacking a designated time to gather and create together, I decided to take matters into my own hands, and began planning Queer Art Club events. The response from the community was awesome and our events have been so much fun. This club continues to run with new leadership even after I have moved away from Colorado, and I support from afar as I am able!
